Dryers
The dryer in an air conditioning system for a car or truck has several functions. Firstly, it absorbs dampness (water) found in the airco system. Also, the dryer filters small particles that arrive in it from the compressor out of the system. Moreover, it provides space to store liquid coolant.
Several types of dryer
The dryer is situated in the engine compartment of the car or truck. Placement in the direct air flow is preferred here. NRF supplies various dryers for airco systems, depending on the system and type of truck or car. There are for example both horizontal and vertical systems, made of steel or aluminium.
