The growth of the electric vehicle fleet is also changing the aftermarket. NRF, one of the largest aftermarket suppliers in the world, today has a strong strategic focus on E-Mobility. With the opening of its NRF E-Mobility Headquarters at the Automotive Campus in Helmond, the Netherlands, NRF underlines this approach.

NRF supplies more than 11,000 engine cooling and air conditioning parts. NRF has a strong focus on E-Mobility, as the aftermarket for electric vehicles is also growing substantially. In addition to a growing E-Mobility product range, NRF has several EV demonstrations and test vehicles. In addition, special EV training courses are offered for customers. The new E-Mobility headquarters at the Automotive Campus will be the location where new E-Mobility activities are started, knowledge is shared and a connection is made with other companies and educational institutions.

Benjamin Meek, E-Mobility director at NRF, has a clear vision. “The growth of the electric vehicle fleet in Europe is enormous. We want to be ready for the future. Therefore, we are rapidly developing our EV product range and increasing and sharing our knowledge about EV. With the opening of an E-Mobility headquarters in Helmond, we emphasize this approach.”

The Automotive Campus in Helmond, located in the Brainport Region, is the national and international hotspot, meeting place and business location in the field of automotive and smart mobility. The campus offers an attractive learning and working environment and technological (test) facilities. Companies on campus inspire each other by sharing knowledge, experience and facilities.

Pieter Rahusen, Manager Business Development & Acquisition at the Automotive Campus, is pleased with the entry of NRF: “NRF is a great addition to our ecosystem.” Rahusen is also very pleased with NRF’s proposed collaboration with Summa and Fontys on campus. “The collaboration with educational institutions is precisely the strength of our campus. We therefore applaud that such an innovative organization like NRF wants to realize their further development of the EV product range with them.”
